When?

• Friday, November 29, 2024

• Please be mounted by 10:50am for an 11:00am departure after announcements

• Riders should plan to be out for approximately 2 hours

Where?

• Waredaca - 4015 Damascus Rd, Laytonsville, MD 20882​

• Parking will be in the field at the corner of Damascus Rd and Howard Chapel Rd

Details:

• Riders of all abilities will be accommodated in four different fields:

  • First Field: Riders are expected to be able to walk, trot, canter, gallop, and jump natural obstacles and coops​

  • Second Field: Riders are expected to walk, trot, canter, and jump natural obstacles

  • Third Field: Riders are expected to walk and trot

  • Hilltopping: Riders will be walking or leadline

• Participants must be under the age of 21 - Children and/or lead ponies in the hill topping field may have an adult rider accompany them

• All participants including adults must submit signed release form (Click Here for the latest Goshen Waiver)

• Breakfast to follow after the hunt

• Cost - FREE for juniors and their parents​​​

Attire:

All riders must be wearing an approved helmet and appropriate footwear at all times while mounted. Formal or Ratcatcher attire is recommended but not required. Click here for more information on attire. Ponies and horses should be turned out smartly for a day of hunting!
